The Heritage Retreat began as a simple living room in a family home built in the 1980s—one that had been lovingly passed down through generations. The clients were ready to take a leap and finally make the space their own. Their vision was clear: a room that felt modern and elevated while staying deeply connected to their South Asian roots. We transformed the space into a warm, inviting sitting and library room designed for everyday living and meaningful moments. A statement accent wallpaper paired with wall-to-wall shelving became the focal point, adding depth, character, and a sense of heritage. The remaining walls were painted in a soft, calming tone to balance the richness of the space, while updated furniture and thoughtfully layered secondary pieces brought in comfort and refinement. Today, The Heritage Retreat is a space where the family reads, relaxes, and plays games with their children, a true reflection of their lifestyle and story. A once-simple room is now a soulful, functional retreat with undeniable wow factor.
