Namaste Friends,
The Holidays are around the corner and many of you are hosting parties, dinners or luncheons. As we know around this time of the year, actually to be quite honest ANY holiday you celebrate throughout the year should always be more about spending time with family and friends. However, I know most of us when hosting like to spruce it up a little bit. I know many of you see those Pinterest posts and think.. “WOW how can I do all that”, or “Looks like ALOT of work”. Honestly, it can be depending on the look you’re going for however I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to make it over the top and you can do simple things to get all set up for the beautiful elegant tablescape. And guess what???..you don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars. Especially if you plan to change up your look every year. Below are my tips to get started and I’ve also linked all the products I’ve used below!
Tip 1: Make sure you think of color coordination. For this, I used traditional reds, greens, whites, and golds.
Tip 2: Always start with a base of greenery, trust me the elegant factor goes up! You can use the greenery not only for Christmas but any other holiday. If you can get your hands on fresh greenery, always go for that.
Tip 3: Target dollar spot is YOUR friend. They have sooo much good stuff now that you can play around with items from the little houses I got for the tablescape and the candles.
Tip 4: Make sure you have some tall items to give some depth to the tablescape. For example, I used tall candle holders and candles to give it an elegant look.
Tip 5: MINIMIZE clutter. VERY KEY.
The last thing I want to say is most importantly enjoy the time with your family & friends. Laugh until your tummy hurts, after all that’s really what it’s all about.
Here are all the items I used for this tablescape. Some were not available online, so I’ve added similar items.
