If this year taught me anything, it’s that growth rarely shows up wrapped in a neat little bow. It becomes messy. Layered. Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, but always meaningful.
This year stretched me. Creatively, personally, and professionally. I learned that trusting my instinct isn’t just a “nice to have,” it’s the foundation of everything I create. The more I leaned into my point of view..my love for soulful spaces, thoughtful details, and homes that actually feel like the people living in them, the clearer everything became.
I also learned that perfection is overrated. Progress, on the other hand? Very chic. Some of my favorite moments came from saying yes before I felt fully ready, figuring it out as I went, and allowing things to evolve naturally. Design, after all, is never static so why should life be any different?
Another big lesson: rest is productive. Pausing, resetting, and stepping back doesn’t mean losing momentum. It means protecting creativity. The best ideas tend to show up when you give them room to breathe (usually when you’re not staring at your screen asking them nicely).
And then there’s gratitude. For clients who trusted me with their homes. For collaborations that taught me big lessons. For inspiration that came from books, travel( especially from London and Spain!), fashion, art, and everyday moments that reminded me why I love what I do. None of it is lost on me.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As I look forward, I’m craving more depth. More intention. More projects that tell a story and spaces that feel lived-in, layered, and deeply personal. I want to continue refining my voice, pushing my creativity, and designing homes that feel like a true exhale.
Next year is about alignment. About choosing what feels right, not just what looks good on paper. About growth that feels grounded, inspired, and sustainable (with a little fun sprinkled in, obviously).
So here’s to closing this chapter with gratitude and stepping into the next one with curiosity, confidence, and a more clear vision. The best spaces and seasons are still ahead.
Thank you to everyone who continues to show up in my little corner of the internet. Whether you’re here for home inspiration, fashion, or to watch my journey evolve, your support truly means the world to me.
Cheers to what was, to what’s coming and creating happy spaces,
Rashmi
